Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight
Position: Dispensing Optician (Full-Time)

About Us:

We are a two-room testing practice equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including Optomap and OCT, and a majority computerised record system. We believe in delivering the highest level of service and creating a welcoming, professional environment for both our patients and staff.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients with dispensing, including frame selection, lens advice, and measurements
• Collections, adjustments, and repairs
• Managing orders for specs and contact lenses
• Providing expert advice and support to patients on optical products and aftercare
• Working closely with our optometrists to ensure a seamless patient journey
• Helping maintain efficient diary management and patient records

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
• A passion for delivering excellent patient care
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A friendly, approachable personality that fits with our patient-first ethos
• Experience in an optical environment with knowledge of the latest lens technologies
• Ability to work every other Saturday
