About the Role

As our Regional Operations Manager, you will have a good understanding of working in an Optical Practice, and ideally be a qualified Dispensing Optician.

 

Essentially, you’ll be a natural communicator, who is personable with the ability to interact, influence and build trusting relationships at all levels. You'll be adaptable and able to thrive in a busy and dynamic environment whilst supporting others navigate challenging situations.

 

This is mobile role supporting 8 practices across the Merseyside, Greater Manchester & South Yorkshire area, therefore you will also be entitled to a £4,000 annual car allowance.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;

 

· Conduct purposeful practice visits, varying in style, using standard tried and trusted methodology to promote continuity and follow up of actions and leaving a footprint which defines the impact of your visit

· Recognise the uniqueness of each practice and their business model, take time to observe how teams work, their patient journey and what makes them special

· Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and deliver operational efficiencies

· Responsible for taking an ‘end to end’ approach with new projects, including clear communication, stakeholder management and evaluation.

· Be curious, know what the local market is up to, feeding back information to the Shark ensure we keep competitive

· Using your observations and analysis of the sales and KPI data, work with the Shark to develop robust business plans that will enable each practice to reach their sales and EBITDA ambitions

· Ensure the Practice Leadership Teams are working in the most efficient way and are maximising the tools and resources available to them via HGHQ
