About the Role

At Ramsay & Roberts - Eyecare Excellence, we are proud to offer exceptional eye care while building strong relationships with our patients and their families. With a talented, friendly, and long-serving team, we prioritise getting to know each patient as an individual to deliver tailored care and eyewear solutions in a welcoming and relaxed environment.

Our practice has been a cornerstone of the local community for over 30 years, originally established by Lyn Savage. The recent move to purpose-built premises provided the opportunity to refresh our name, allowing Elysia, Laura, and Mark to continue our legacy under the Ramsay & Roberts banner.

We are looking for a part-time Optical Assistant to join our team in delivering outstanding patient care.

You will play a key role in our practice, supporting us in enhancing our service offerings while seeking opportunities to innovate and improve.

We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to putting patients first and dedicating the time needed to understand and address their visual needs. Equally important is your ability to provide a friendly, informative, and empathetic service.

What We Offer

  • A modern, independent practice equipped with innovative technology.
  • A supportive team of six professionals.
  • Development opportunities within a dynamic environment.
  • A standout range of frames and eyewear.

Additional Information

  • Maternity Cover Role with the Potential to Transition into a Permanent Position.
  • The role follows a two-week schedule:
    • Week 1: 4.5 days
    • Week 2: 3.5 days (including Saturdays, 9:00 am to 1:30 pm).
