Based at our HQ in Darwen as an experienced Payroll and Benefits Advisor you’ll be part of a small team who take ownership of producing payroll for our colleagues. 

You’ll have the opportunity to continually innovate the ways we work and play a key part in our continued growth.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

You will be working closely with Payroll & Benefits team to provide comprehensive support to our colleagues, ensuring the efficient delivery of salary payments and any adjustments.

• Accurate and timely input of variable payroll data to the payroll system
• Processing holiday, sick, maternity and paternity leave payments
• Liaison with the wider People team to ensure all new starter, leaver details and static payroll changes are updated in time to be actioned in the correct payroll month and company.  
• Manage payments to benefits providers and other disbursements relating to benefits.
• Ensure compliance with Auto-Enrolment legislation and company obligations.
• Assisting colleagues and their line managers to resolve payroll queries.

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be a payroll guru, understanding the challenges and tackling them with a wry grin. Knowing how important attention to detail is whilst working in a pressurised environment.  You’re someone who can work flexibly and is a team player. Although not essential, experience of working with itrent would be beneficial
