We’re looking for a full- or part-time (minimum 3 days a week) Optometrist to join us in delivering outstanding patient care at Cooke Opticians.

We can be flexible on the working days. The salary starts at €60,000 (FTE), with the possibility of more depending on experience.

Cooke Opticians is an independent optical practice established in 1991. Based in Stephen Street, Sligo, we have built our reputation as a leading family Opticians, working in the Sligo community for over 30 years and in some cases caring for 4 generations of the one family.

Additional Information:

• Our testing times are 40 minutes
• 3 consulting rooms (each with their own slit lamp and keratometer
• Our practice testing equipment includes I care Tonometers, OCT scanner, Henson 9000 visual field analyser, Vision R 800 Phoropter (trial frame and lens option also available)
• We also have an onsite glazing lab
• We are a friendly and welcoming team of 10
• Full dispensing support from our team of Optical assistants is provided
