About the Role

As our International Talent Partner, you’ll lead on attracting Overseas talent while being our expert on best practices and regulations, maintaining compliance, and more.

You’ll have the opportunity to continually innovate the ways we work and play a key part in our continued growth.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

You will be part of the internal talent team, working closely with our practice partners and people services team to support overseas optometrists working in the UK  

  • Become the go-to expert, guiding business leaders on best practices and keeping them informed about the latest regulatory changes.
  • Take the lead in implementing and maintaining all legislative requirements.    
  • Nurture meaningful connections with candidates from the very start of the recruitment journey—and keep those relationships thriving long after!
  • Encourage and influence leaders to ensure the best experience and outcomes for both the practice and the candidate.
  • Actively seek out innovative ways to elevate our offerings while staying in line with the guidelines set by governing bodies.
  • Provide regular in-depth data and cost analysis to support and inform about the progression of international recruitment. 
  • Take charge as the primary account holder on the government gateway (SMS) and ensure that all updates and changes are kept current and accurate!
  • Craft and execute dynamic international marketing and recruitment strategies tailored for key markets, all designed to drive sustainable long-term growth and success..   

The Ideal Candidate

As a recruitment professional, you’ll bring a strong in-house background, ideally complemented by international recruitment experience. Excellent stakeholder management skills are crucial, enabling professionals to engage and influence others effectively. A comprehensive understanding of all recruitment aspects, including sponsorship visas, is essential. Additionally, a successful track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion is necessary, along with a solid grasp of employment law legislation that governs recruitment activities. Natural communicators who can build relationships at all levels will thrive, as will those with strong organisational, time management, and financial management skills. The ability to work at a fast pace while juggling multiple tasks and deadlines is key, and a strong analytical mindset that allows for the interpretation of data and trends is vital for providing actionable recommendations.
