About the Role

Join our vibrant People Team as a People Services Administrator, where your love for structure, detail, and efficiency will help shape the backbone of our HR operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the UK’s fastest-growing optical business, supporting our practices and teams across the UK and Ireland.

 

This is a newly created role, giving you the chance to influence how we work, streamline our systems, and contribute to our ongoing growth journey.

 

This is an office-based role at our HQ in Darwen, BB3 1AE.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update HR systems and databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of people processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and contract management.
  • Act as a first-line support for People-related queries, providing timely and professional responses
  • Deliver excellent customer service to our practices and support teams, ensuring queries are resolved or escalated appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the wider People Team to ensure compliance and consistency in HR practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our service delivery

Our Ideal Person

 

You are a detail-oriented and process-driven individual with experience in HR administration and a keen interest in systems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy bringing order to complexity. You’re confident using HR software and Excel, and you’re always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
You’re a natural communicator, comfortable working with people across all levels of the business, and you take pride in delivering a seamless and professional HR service.
