Independent Prescribing Optometrist- Eye Academy, Windsor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Independent Prescribing (IP) Optometrist to join Eye Academy — our luxury independent practice in the historic town of Windsor.

At Eye Academy, we’re known for blending premium eyewear collections with specialist clinical services. Across our award-winning practices, we pride ourselves on offering patients the very best: from cutting edge diagnostics to luxury frames sourced from around the world. Our Windsor clinic also holds an NHS Ophthalmology Contract, managing glaucoma and acute eye conditions, making it the perfect setting for an Optometrist wanting to practise advanced care in a high-end environment.

 The Role

• Provide expert care in glaucoma management and acute eye conditions under our NHS ophthalmology contract
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using state-of-the-art technology
• Independently manage and prescribe treatment plans as an IP Optometrist
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient outcomes

About You

• Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification (essential)
• Diploma in Glaucoma (or working towards it) – highly desirable
• Hospital Eye Service experience preferred
• Clinically driven, with a passion for exceptional patient care
• Excellent communication skills and an interest in both specialist eye care and luxury eyewear
