About the Role

We are looking for a full-time or part-time (20-40h per week) Administrative Assistant to join us in delivering outstanding patient care at Memory Opticians in Salisbury. You’ll play a key role in keeping the practice running smoothly, handling administration duties, supporting our team, and ensuring that our patients have a positive, seamless experience.

 

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, takes pride in being organised, and values being part of a supportive team. Our ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and thrives in a role where attention to detail matters. You’ll have the time, tools, and encouragement to do your job to a high standard, without feeling rushed or pressured. Collaboration is central to how we work, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring both staff and patients feel cared for and supported.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing invoices, billing, and financial records with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Overseeing health and safety compliance, ensuring the practice meets all necessary standards.

  • Coordinating staff rotas and schedules, making sure the team is well-supported.

  • Assisting with marketing initiatives, including social media, promotions, and patient communications.

  • Supporting day-to-day administration tasks, from correspondence to record keeping.

  • Acting as a friendly, professional point of contact for patients and colleagues alike.
