We are looking for a full-time Optical Assistant to join us in delivering outstanding patient care. You’ll play a key role in providing expert advice, sharing knowledge on frames and fittings, and delivering ongoing care that makes patients feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, our ideal candidate takes pride in offering honest advice, building trust with patients, and being part of a team that delivers a quality service while supporting one another. You’ll have the time, tools, and encouragement to do your job to a high standard and play a key role in making sure every patient has a smooth, positive experience from start to finish.

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll support patients with everything from using diagnostic equipment to frame styling and lens choices to fittings, arranging appointments for patients either face to face and over the telephone. You’ll offer product knowledge that’s tailored to each person’s visual and lifestyle needs.  You'll also assist with the practice day to day tasks, contribute to the upkeep of displays and equipment, and be a professional, friendly, reliable point of contact for both patients and colleagues. Above all, you’ll bring a genuine interest in people, an eye for detail, and a caring, can do attitude to every part of your day.

Additional Information:

• This role is ideal for someone with or without previous experience working in optics
• Our frame selection includes Tom Ford, Rayban, Oakely, Calvin Klein
• We have 3 consulting rooms
• We are a team of 16
• This role requires you to work every Saturday with a mid week day off
• Our appointment times are 20/30/40 minutes
