  • Employee discount
  • Cycle-to-work scheme
  • On-site parking
  • Health & wellbeing programme
  • Additional leave and sick pay
  • The opportunity to grow your knowledge of clinical governance, compliance, and healthcare regulation
  • Being part of a team where clarity, collaboration, and care are at the heart of everything we do

About the Role

We’re looking for a Clinical Governance Coordinator to support the delivery of our clinical governance programmes and projects across the Hakim Group. In this role, you’ll help ensure our practices operate safely, legally, and in line with the latest professional standards — protecting both patients and colleagues while reinforcing our commitment to exceptional care.

You’ll work closely with the Clinical Governance Manager to deliver key initiatives, provide essential administrative and coordination support, and ensure that important clinical governance activities run smoothly and on schedule. Building strong relationships will be central to your success; you’ll regularly engage with JVPs, Buddies, Clinical Leads, and wider HG teams to ensure consistency, clarity, and strong practice engagement across the Group.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone organised, people-focused, and passionate about raising standards across a growing clinical estate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the annual renewal of practice insurance, gathering accurate information from practices to maintain FODO Professional Indemnity Insurance.
    • Manage the annual renewal of GOC Body Corporate retention, working with Practice Partners to ensure every practice remains compliant.
    • Maintain the Complaints Tracker, liaising with Clinical Leads to log and support the management of clinical incidents, ensuring full investigation and timely communication with patients and stakeholders.
    • Produce and support reporting on Clinical Incident KPIs, contributing to a clear dashboard that helps the business monitor trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Support creation of the Clinical Governance newsletter, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and delivered to agreed deadlines.
    • Prepare clinical governance communications on project updates, attending meetings with Buddies as required.
    • Produce KPI reports on Clinical Governance projects, including Clinical Record Audits (CRAs).
    • Manage and maintain NHS policy packs, ensuring they remain accurate, up to date, and aligned with NHS contract requirements.
    • Oversee the PAG inbox, directing governance queries to the appropriate person and ensuring timely responses.
    • Create and monitor audits through our reporting software to help practices remain compliant and engaged.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re organised, proactive, and confident working with people at all levels. This role suits someone who enjoys coordinating programmes, keeping projects on track, and supporting others to deliver high standards.

You’ll bring:
• Experience in programme administration, project coordination, or a similar organisational role.
• Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and get things done through people.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with a proactive, self-driven approach.
• A calm, professional, and approachable manner.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• An optical background is helpful but not essential.
