About the Role

We are looking for a full time Optical Assistant Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team. Previous optical experience would be advantageous; however, we are also open to applicants who are new to optics and willing to learn, as full training and support will be provided.

 

You will be working in a one test room practice alongside a small, close-knit team of three, where teamwork, reliability, and patient care are essential. The role involves supporting the smooth running of the practice, providing excellent front-of-house service, and assisting the clinical team where required.

 

Appointment times are 30 minutes, allowing for a calm, organised clinic flow and a positive patient experience.

This position would suit someone who is personable, adaptable, and keen to develop their skills within a patient-focused independent practice.

 

  • Late evenings: One late evening weekly on a rota basis, finishing by 8pm
  • Hours: Full-time - 35 hours per week
  • Weekends: No weekend working
