This role is perfect for someone who is physically active, playful, and confident, and who genuinely enjoys getting involved, whether that means crawling on the floor, turning therapy into a game, or being a little bit silly to keep a child motivated and engaged.

The role:

  • Deliver one-to-one vision therapy sessions with children

  • Use movement, play, and creativity to keep sessions fun and effective

  • Adapt your approach to suit each child’s personality, mood, and needs

  • Maintain focus and structure while keeping energy levels high

  • Build strong relationships with both children and parents

  • Work closely with the clinical team to support measurable progress

  • Working as an Optical assistant and assisting the team with diary management, scheduling appointments and general front of house

About you:

  • Experience from working with Children is essential for this role
  • Highly energetic and a good communicator
  • You can adapt quickly to different personalities and learning styles
  • You have a warm, enthusiastic, and encouraging nature

Additional Information:

  • This role is ideal for someone without previous experience working in optics
  • We will enrol you in BABO courses, meaning you will gain the skill and knowledge in vision therapy you need to succeed in this role
  • You will also receive training in optics
  • This role can be full-time Mon-Fri, or we can accommodate part-time
