We are looking for a full or part-time Optometrist to join us in delivering outstanding patient care. This role is initially to cover a maternity leave, however there is an option for it to be made into a permanent position if suitable. 

This is a role for someone who values the clinical side of the job, who enjoys building trust with patients from a variety of backgrounds, and who thrives in a team that supports each other. You’ll have the time, tools and autonomy to do your job to a high standard, without feeling rushed or restricted. Collaboration is at the heart of the practice, so you’ll work closely with your teams to ensure a smooth patient journey and a great workplace culture.

Our appt times are 40mins. We have a team of highly experienced Optical Assistants and a Trainee DO to support you outside the testing room. We run double clinics every day so you will have the support of working alongside one of our experienced Optometrists. You will have the opportunity to work with Ortho K lenses and get involved in our dry eye services. 

There is secure parking next door. We have our own company pension scheme.

As our new Optometrist, you'll carry out thorough eye examinations and provide tailored services and solutions that align with each patient’s lifestyle and needs. You'll work within coru guidelines and company policies to deliver expert care, while supporting the team by resolving clinical or technical queries. Your role also includes liaising with external  professionals, maintaining practice equipment, and contributing your knowledge and ideas to the ongoing success of the practice.

• We have 2 consulting rooms and a prescreening room which is home to our OCT, Myah, Henson 9000 and our Topcon 4in1
• We offer a range of dry eye servcies including Blephex, Blephasteam
• We are a team of 10
• This role requires you to work some Saturdays.
