Optical Practice Manager

We’re looking for a Practice Manager who naturally prioritises patient care in every decision, leads with calm consistency, has strong commercial awareness and full ownership of performance, communicates clearly with both the team and head office, and is motivated to grow within a business offering genuine long-term opportunity.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the patient journey from first contact through to collection, ensuring a consistently high standard at every stage
• Dispensing eyewear, ensuring accuracy, comfort, and a high-quality patient experience
• Actively involved in dispensing, leading by example and taking pride in the work
• Running daily team huddles to keep the team focused, aligned, and motivated
• Leading, developing, and motivating a team of 6
• Delivering weekly meetings and training sessions to close gaps and build strong habits
• Commercial performance
• Managing budgets, KPIs, and stock control, while understanding and driving business performance
• Stock and suppliers
• Keeping the practice organised, well-stocked and running efficiently
• Recruitment and people management
• Compliance and standards
• Maintaining health & safety and regulatory standards
• Clear, honest updates on performance, people and patient experience
