About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time or part-time Optical Assistant to join us in delivering the kind of personalised, patient-first care we’re known for.

 

Whether you’re an experienced Optical Assistant or completely new to optics, we’d love to hear from you. No optical experience? That’s absolutely fine. We’ll give you the training, support and guidance you need to become a confident Optical Assistant.

 

You’ll learn all about optics, our products and how to provide a great experience for every patient, while working alongside a supportive team in practice. We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people, has a positive attitude and takes pride in providing great service. With ongoing training and development available, this could be the start of a really rewarding career in optics, with plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your skills along the way.

 

 

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building trust with patients, and being part of a supportive, tight-knit team. You’ll have the time and freedom to do your job properly by providing honest, expert care. Working closely with the rest of the team, you’ll help create a smooth and positive experience for every patient who walks through the door.

 

You’ll be working with a carefully curated frame range, supported by the latest lens technology, and you’ll have input into stock selection and styling displays. The team is experienced, friendly, and we all pitch in to create a relaxed but professional environment.

  • Previous optical experience is not required as a full training pathway will be provided
  • We have 1 consulting room
  • We are a team of 7
  • This role requires you to work 2 Saturdays a month
  • Our appointment times are 30-45minutes
