Optical Assistant | Full-Time | Monday–Saturday

Looking for a role where great patient care comes first?

We’re looking for a friendly, confident Optical Assistant to join our team of 7. You’ll be a key part of the patient journey, from pre-screening and frame styling through to adjustments and aftercare.

With 40-minute to 1-hour appointments, you’ll have the time to properly look after your patients, build relationships and provide a personal service — without feeling rushed.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting patients with frame styling, product advice and aftercare
• Carrying out pre-screening and other clinical support tasks
• Helping with fittings, adjustments and dispensing
• Building great relationships with patients and colleagues
• Supporting the smooth running of the practice and keeping displays and equipment looking their best

What we’re looking for

You don’t need previous optical experience; we’re happy to consider someone with strong customer service or administration experience who is friendly, organised and keen to learn.

You’ll be someone who:

• Loves working with people
• Has great attention to detail
• Takes pride in providing excellent service
• Is confident, reliable and a team player
• Has a genuine interest in learning and developing within optics

• Full-time
• Monday–Saturday, with 2 days off.

• 2 consulting rooms
