Are you a creative and technically minded website designer who loves bringing designs to life and creating brilliant online experiences? We’re looking for a Senior Website Designer to join our Digital team and help shape the websites that connect patients with our practices across the UK and Ireland.
Hakim Group supports over 550 practices, with ambitious plans to reach 1,000 by 2030. Our websites play a key role in helping patients discover our practices, find the services they need and book appointments. As our digital offering continues to grow, we’re looking for someone who can deliver high-quality websites while helping us build a more efficient, consistent and scalable way of working.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take the lead on designing and building practice websites and landing pages, bringing creative designs to life and ensuring every page is responsive, accessible and ready to perform. You’ll also take ownership of more complex builds, develop reusable templates and components, and help set the standard for quality across the wider web team.
Alongside your own projects, you’ll mentor a junior designer, sharing your knowledge and helping them develop their skills and confidence. You’ll work closely with our Digital Manager, Website Solutions Lead, Creative and SEO teams, as well as our offshore designers, to deliver websites that look great, work seamlessly and support our wider business goals.
If you’re passionate about great design, enjoy solving problems and want to make a real impact on a growing digital team, this could be the opportunity for you!
Designing and building: Create and launch practice websites and landing pages using Webflow, taking projects from initial brief through to completion.
Raising the standard: Lead on more complex builds, including custom layouts, interactions and campaign pages, ensuring everything meets our quality expectations.
Bringing designs to life: Turn creative concepts from Figma and other design tools into responsive, accessible and visually consistent web pages.
Building for the future: Develop reusable templates, components and design patterns that help the team deliver websites more efficiently and consistently.
Quality checking: Review and test work completed by other team members, including our offshore designers, before websites go live.
Supporting development: Mentor our junior designer through onboarding and early projects, providing constructive feedback and helping establish their development goals alongside the Digital Manager.
Getting the details right: Add standard GA4 and GTM tracking events to every build and check that everything is working correctly before launch.
Working collaboratively: Partner with the Website Solutions Lead to discuss briefs, explore solutions and identify anything requiring custom code or integrations.
Supporting SEO: Work with the SEO team on pre-launch checks, making the necessary improvements to ensure websites are ready to perform.
Sharing knowledge: Document website builds, processes and components so that the wider team can easily understand, maintain and develop them.
Embracing innovation: Keep up to date with evolving platforms, tools and techniques, including code-based builds and AI-assisted design.
Several years of experience designing and building live websites, with strong Webflow skills or experience using a similar platform.
A strong eye for layout, typography and visual consistency, supported by a portfolio that showcases your work.

Experience reviewing other people's work and providing constructive feedback, ideally with experience mentoring or supporting a junior designer.
The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different locations and time zones.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to identify potential issues and find practical solutions.
An interest in AI-assisted design, automation and the opportunities emerging technologies can bring to web development.
